The Community Chest for Millions was founded by the Readers' Charity Foundation of Macau Daily in December 1984 and held every December.
In the Journey of Millions, there are golden dragons, lions, and gongs and drums, and the music is melodious when bands play along the way or at the station. There are also dance teams accompanied by dancing shadows. The Journey of Millions has become an annual carnival in Macau. During the period, people from all walks of life in Macao actively participated in teams and donated enthusiastically, regardless of nationality, class, occupation, religious belief and age, forming a caring army of charity.
